Who we are
Precizna is a small team building tools for farmers and small farm operations. We treat the data you put into Precizna as yours, and we handle it with that in mind. If you have a privacy question, write to privacy@precizna.com and a person on our team will answer.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to run the service for you.
- Account information
- Your email address and a password that we store in hashed form. We never see your password in readable text.
- Farm and parcel data
- The farms, parcels, boundaries, seasons, crops, varieties, and sowing dates that you record in the app.
- Satellite imagery and derived maps
- Vegetation indices, productivity zones, and variable-rate maps (VRA) generated for the parcels you have added. We fetch this on demand, not in the background.
- Operations and yield records
- Field operations such as sowing, fertilising, and harvesting, along with the yields you choose to log against your parcels.
- Technical security data
- Your IP address and browser or device identifier at sign-in, registration, and password change. We keep this for a short period to detect abuse.
How we use your data
We use your data to run the service: to show you your parcels, fetch satellite imagery for them, generate variable-rate maps (VRA), and let you export those maps to your tractor or planter.
We use technical sign-in data to keep your account secure, to spot suspicious activity, and to recover from issues if something goes wrong.
We do not run advertising on Precizna. We do not sell or rent your data. We do not load marketing pixels or third-party analytics. What you put in is used to give you the service, and nothing else.
Cookies and essential storage
We use a sign-in cookie so you stay logged in, and we remember your language preference. These are necessary for the app to work.
We do not use analytics or marketing cookies. The mobile app keeps your sign-in token in the secure storage provided by your operating system.
How long we keep it
- Active account
- We keep your data for as long as your account is open, so your farms, parcels, and history stay available to you.
- Deleted account
- When you delete your account, your personal data and farm records are removed within 30 days.
- Sign-in security records
- IP addresses and device identifiers from sign-in events are kept for up to 90 days, then deleted.
- Backups
- Routine backups may hold deleted data for up to 35 days before they roll off. We do not restore deleted accounts from backups.
Your rights
You have clear rights over the data you put into Precizna. Email privacy@precizna.com from the address linked to your account and we will help.
- Access your data
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct what is inaccurate
- Update or correct any information that is wrong or out of date.
- Delete your account
- Close your account and have your personal data removed.
- Restrict or object
- Ask us to pause certain uses of your data, or object where you have grounds to.
- Take your data elsewhere
- Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable form so you can move it to another service.
Account deletion
You can delete your account from inside the app, or by writing to privacy@precizna.com from your account email. Once confirmed, we remove your personal data and farm records within 30 days.
If you also want copies of your operation logs, yields, or variable-rate maps (VRA), export them before you delete. We cannot restore them afterwards.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters to you, we will notify you by email or inside the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top of the page always shows when it was last updated.
